Hi, I'm Johana, the founder of Beautiful Minds Creative and a mom of four boys.

My boys have always had big energy, big imaginations, and plenty of ideas. Watching them create, explore, and turn simple things into something completely their own reminded me of something I believe deeply:

Every mind has the ability to wonder, imagine, and create.

I created Beautiful Minds to give children opportunities to explore that part of themselves through hands-on creative experiences. I also have a heart for working with people with developmental disabilities. I believe that every person, with or without a disability, has their own gifts, talents, creativity, and beautiful way of seeing the world. Sometimes we simply need to make room for each person to express those gifts in their own way.

My faith is at the heart of this work. I believe God created each of us with purpose and gave us beautiful minds capable of wondering, imagining, and creating.​
